My name is Harsha Govinda Koralearachchi, a professional aviator, and a qualified Theoretical instructor Pilot for transport pilot licensing for both airplanes and helicopters by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAA SL) and a certified Theoretical Instructor Pilot of the European Aviation Safety Agency Instructor Pilot (EASA). I am the founder of Ravana Aviation academy, an institute providing professional education to national and international flying students. Also, I take pride in introducing aviation archaeology to Sri Lanka.
I am a graduate of Kotelawala Defence University. I served my motherland as a helicopter pilot in Sri Lanka Air Force from 1997 -2010. I obtained a postgraduate diploma in archaeology from the University of Kelaniya. Currently, I am reading for a master’s degree in Archaeology at the same university. I am a qualified National Tourist Guide Lecturer, the professional aviator to hold that title.
